Free Clip Art Bright Colorful Women from the 1920's Art Deco Style

Hi everyone, Another wonderful warm(hot) day in California. Today I have some cheerful bright illustrations from the 1920's. It was time to lighten things up!
1926 movie poster of Corinne Griffith, a successful actress. She was an Academe Award winning silent screen actress. Looking her up was interesting. Married 4 times, affairs with Howard Hughes, and wealthy if what I found is correct.
1924 Peoples Home Journal magazine cover with the title removed.
I can not remember where this came from. Love the colors
While searching around I found the artist Warwick Goble. Look him up for beautiful children's book illustrations. His work is still under copyright so thought it better to share the info and not the images.

The Fabulous French Fashion Illustrator Pierre Brussaud

Time for something chic and French!
Today I have some prints from early 1900's by Pierre Brissaud. Pierre Brissaud (1885–1964) was a French Art Deco illustrator, He is known for his pochoir prints for the fashion magazine Gazette du Bon Ton. They illustrate the designs of Paris fashion houses such as Jeanne Lanvin,Chéruit, Worth, and Doucet. Thank you Wikipedia for that tidbit of information and some of the images here.
The number of followers and visits continue to climb which is so fun for me. Your kind comments(which I love) are my motivation. Bumble Button will always and forever be a commercial free blog for you. Just pretty and useful images.
 Enjoy, Louise

Free clip art Vintage Volland Art Deco 1920's Bridge Tally's

Hi everyone and welcome!
I think I've found some treasures for you....
These are from vintage books, bridge tallies, and place cards. The pictures are so different in design and style. The  striking Art Deco one at the top is my favorite. The darling little girl with the wheel barrow is from a children's book.  They are from the 1920-30's.
Ready made gift tag or book mark.
So glad you stopped by for a visit.
 Much Love as always, Louise
