Antique gold and violets perfume labels. Postcard ephemera with pretty girls in purple dresses and violets. Perfect for scrapbooking and journals.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Bumble Buttons. The collection of graphics today feature violets. Pretty little violets adorn postcards and best of all perfume labels. I am striving to put posts that are similar to the July 26 2011, one. That post is unbelievably  popular! The difference is the type of flowers.

Antique French Perfume Labels ~ Outstanding Collection of Labels Ready to Print, Cut & Use for Free ~

 Hi everyone and welcome!

The French perfume labels featured today are from a perfume manufactures trade journal. I was so excited to find them. I know similar images have been so popular on Bumble Button! They were in really good condition, safely tucked away in the book.  Only needed minor cleaning up. I can see them used in so many ways.
Hope you can use them to embellish your personal art projects and creations.
  Have a wonderful creative day!

Madame Pompadour portraits by François Boucher ~ Free Vintage Button Card and Rococo Label Clip Art

Madame Pompadour needs to powder her nose! It was easy to pick paintings to go with this button card.  I love the sumptuous silks, lace, and ribbons in portraits from this time period.
Madame de Pompadour by  François Boucher, 1758
This picture was in my parents bedroom growing up.
This would make pretty labels.

1880's Paintings of Paris Flower Markets by Victor Gabriel Gilbert

Hello and welcome to all of you,
I came across these fabulous  paintings by Victor Gabriel Gilbert (1847-1933) of Paris flower vendors and markets. Think how fragrant and beautiful all those flowers would be!  Have you ever been to one of these? Do they still exist? It is easy to imagine walking home with an armload of flower bouquets to fill every room in ones home.
Thank you for the support and encouragement in your comments!
Have a wonderful and creative day.
Much Love as always, Louise
