Beautiful Staffordshire Willow Pattern ~ Blue and White Pottery in Antique Postcards and Ephemera ~ Adorable Kittens and China

Hi and welcome to all of you! I hope you are safe and well. Like most of my post themes this one fell in place because of one picture. Today the darling little kitten drinking out of the tea cup was my inspiration. The Staffordshire Willow pattern reminds me of being with my grandmother. So cozy and full of love and warm tea. That sounds so good as it is chilly tonight!

Couldn't leave this one out just because the vase is not blue and white.

Adorable Victorian Greeting Cards ~ Little Girl with Doll ~ Girl with Daisy~ Free Graphics Images

Hi everyone and welcome!
These adorable pictures are Victorian greeting cards.
The first one is so sweet with what looks like a Hitty doll. Love the warm colors that remind me that it will soon be fall.  The girl with the big blue bow might be contemplating a boy and the game "he loves me,he loves me not" as she pull out the petals of the daisy. Just two of the many colorful images from a 1880's scrapbook. More to follow in the coming days. So very happy you found your way to my little blog!
I hope you add them to your creative projects and art.

Welcome to you all.
Need an escape from all the shopping or problems in life? Then you have found it!
Today is for James Tissot. I never tire of his paintings. Sumptuous dresses and rich colors and I am off to another era and time. This group of paintings feature ladies looking at or holding Japanese objects. The 'Shop Girl' is included because many of you are out shopping! The artist's self portrait is last.
All of these images where found on The Athenaeum.

Lovely Flower Ladies from early 1900's ~ Art Nouveau China Painting Designs

These lovely flower ladies are from the early 1900's. Originally patterns for china painting you could use them for other projects. Love the one with a cup full of tea/coffee and the daffodil one.
The Legacy had a donation of old china painting supplies recently. A few plates were done but the rest were in various stages of completion and unfired. I found it so interesting after finding the old books on china painting earlier this year. Be sure and look at my earlier post on 4-25-12.
Thank you for your kind comments. Hope you have a happy and creative day, Love to you all, Louise

Free Clip Art Of Pretty Floral Designs From Turn of the Century China Painting.

Hi everyone! Welcome.

It is so fun searching around for things to put on bumble buttons. You never know what will turn up! I came across a book from the early 1900s that was about china painting. There are diagrams and guides for decorating china of any kind. Today I am posting the pictures that are in color. Most of the pictures in the book are black and white. I would love to see how you use them.
As always the images are free for your personal use and enjoyment.
So glad you stopped by and hope you found something you can use.
Much love to you all, Louise
