Antique French Perfume Labels ~ Outstanding Collection of Labels Ready to Print, Cut & Use for Free ~

 Hi everyone and welcome!

The French perfume labels featured today are from a perfume manufactures trade journal. I was so excited to find them. I know similar images have been so popular on Bumble Button! They were in really good condition, safely tucked away in the book.  Only needed minor cleaning up. I can see them used in so many ways.
Hope you can use them to embellish your personal art projects and creations.
  Have a wonderful creative day!

June Birthstone and Flowers ~ Free Digital Antique Postcards & Photographs Featuring Pearls, Roses and Honeysuckle.

Hi everyone!  Welcome to you and the month of June!

Another month in 2021 that has snuck up on me. There are two birth flowers for June.  Honeysuckle and rose are both listed for birthdays in June. There are also two birthstones. The pearl is the traditional "birthstone". The modern birthstone is alexandrite. All so pretty. When I graduated from school my grandmother gave me a ring with an alexandrite(imitation). I have always cherished it.  Happy birthday to everyone one born this month!

Beautiful Engravings of Heroines From Plays by William Shakespeare ~ Free Clipart for Journals & Craft

Welcome to new and returning visitors alike!

I hope you find something beautiful to enjoy or use in your many and varied creations.

I have come across many beautiful illustrations in old books. These are especially exquisite in my opinion. The book they are from is The Heroines of Shakespeare.  I have selected a sampling to share with you. There are quite a few more in the book. The book can be found at the Archive Library online. One of my favorite places to find pictures and audio books. Let me know if you use them. I can visualize them on pages of junk journals or tucked in a little glassine pocket with images from the Elizabethan era.

Thank you for your kind comments. They inspire me to continue this adventure.

Masked & Anonymous ~ Disguise, Mystery & Coquetry in Illustrations, Paintings ~ Free Digital Printies for Journal, Scrapbooking & Card Making

Hi everyone and a big welcome to all.
Things have really changed from when I started the draft for this post! What a difference a year makes. The first photograph was the starting point for this little caper into art and disguise. Who knew a look through a mask could be so intriguing. With all due respect to the medical masks that are part of our lives this year, this is just about the fun kind of masks. Masks used for parties, intrigue, and flirting only! I hope you can use one of these in your art and craft projects.

Crowns & Tiaras in Art & Book Illustrations~ Léon-François Comerre Painting~ Digital Clipart for Junk Journal Pages, Greeting Cards & Mixed Media.

 Hi everyone and welcome!

You can never have to many crowns and tiaras in your digital clipart stash. Especially when they are in color. I could not resist the photograph of the queen or princess dripping in jewels. She will be added to my favorites file! The single large crown image is so clear and sharper than I usually find at museums and libraries. Thrilled when I found the painting by Leon Comerre!  A golden crown, rich warm paint colors and the models blonde hair are perfect together. Not only is it a beautiful painting I also found a new artist to learn about. I really hope you like these pictures as much as I do. I am already laying out a journal page in my head.
Enjoy and feel free to use for your personal art projects.
Much love as always, Louise

Black Spanish Lace Mantillas ~ Lace Border Frame & Label~ Free Digital Clipart & Printies

The post today was inspired by the first picture of a woman with a mantilla. Such a pretty silhouette with that incredible lace detail! Just love it!
The lace border came from a very old children's book. It has been in my digital stash for quite a while. When I came across the Spanish dancer I knew right away she and the lace border belonged together. Black buttons like those little vintage rhinestone ones look really nice on this card.  I hope you like them as much as I do. Let me know if they make it into one of your projects or creations.
Much love to each and everyone of you,Louise

Welcome to all of you!
How is the day going? Well I would say "just peachy" in the most ironic sarcastic way possible.
Not like "I had an absolutely wonderful peachy day!"
To be honest I have actually had a fine time today.
