Fine art to use in your crafts card making and journaling all for free.

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. This afternoon there was the biggest thunder and lightning storm I have ever experienced!  Very exciting! It shook my bed as if there was an earthquake. So glad we had some rain as we really need it here in California. The neighbor’s children had so much fun with all the hail that was coming down. It’s not big but little tiny bits of ice that we only experience once in a while. They bounce on the ground and barely accumulate. A nice break from our dry weather.
Today I have some beautiful paintings of lovely women in big hats. Enjoy them or use them in your projects making cards, decorating junk journals and collage. They are from museums that have open source images for you to use. So glad you found my blog and hope you have a wonderful day full of happiness and creativity

Ephemera featuring Darling Scottie dogs. Vintage postcards and a button card.

I just love Scottie dogs. My grandparents had one when my dad was a little boy. Scotty dogs looks so dignified. His name was Tuppence and was quite a character. Today I have vintage postcards, a button card, and Art Deco playing cards that feature these adorable dogs. I hope you can use them in your projects.
 So glad you stopped by!

Antique gold and violets perfume labels. Postcard ephemera with pretty girls in purple dresses and violets. Perfect for scrapbooking and journals.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Bumble Buttons. The collection of graphics today feature violets. Pretty little violets adorn postcards and best of all perfume labels. I am striving to put posts that are similar to the July 26 2011, one. That post is unbelievably  popular! The difference is the type of flowers.

Paintings of Cooling Luscious Green Foliage, White Flowers & Pretty Women. Paintings by Sophie Anderson & William Margetson. Free Digital 1880's Ephemera.

Hi everyone! So happy you are here! Today the collection of paintings and ephemera feature white flowers and lush green leaves. The first picture of the magnolia blossoms was the start of this grouping. All the foliage and shade reminds me of finding a shady place to sit on a hot day. Just cool and peaceful. The last few days have been so satisfying as I discover more museums that share artwork online for all to enjoy. Very grateful for the ones who allow downloading for personal and educational purposes. I find it interesting how the different museums handle sharing their collections. Some are so generous and easy. Some are complicated and restrictive. Others do not share at all or charge quite a bit of money.
I hope you are having a wonderful, creative day!
Sending all of you much love and happiness,
Louise

Nursery Rhyme Antique Reproduction Button Cards ~Free Printies. & Clipart ~ for Mounting Novelty Buttons & Gift Cards.

Welcome to Bumble Buttons! I hope you will find something to enjoy and use. Today I have a nice batch of antique, restored kiddy button cards. Our modern novelty buttons are so cute when you sew them on.
Wondering how you are all doing wherever you live. There always seems to be something going on.  So far the weather has been nice this summer in Sonoma County. I have been just fine without my air conditioner, which needs to be repaired.  After several evacuations due to wildfires over the last few years I appreciate the cooler weather and more importantly, no wind. Last year the fire made it to my neighbors backdoor. So much anxiety! Loving every minute of mild, no wind and no fire days.
Playing with button cards and graphics brings me so much joy and purpose. It still amazes me that people from all over the world visit my blog.  I love your comments and wonder if you have used anything for your crafts and art work.
So glad you stopped by. Much love to all of you, Louise
