Antique Tinted Photographic Postcards Sweet Children and Women Sledding Free for Greeting Cards,Collage

Hi everyone and welcome!
Old postcards from the early 1900's are often so cute and whimsical. These photographic postcards are both. The young ladies in the sleighs would make the best Christmas cards and tags ever. I love the Edwardian clothing. When ever I see pictures with fur muffs I can't help but wonder does anyone use them anymore?  Not long ago a child's vintage white rabbit hat and matching muff were donated. I don't remember having one when I was a child but maybe it will trigger one of your memories.
I am so glad you came for a visit. It is nice to be up and blogging again!
Stay warm and create something beautiful!
Much love as always, Louise

Beautiful Antique Postcards featuring Sprigs of Holly

 Welcome one and all!
Today I found the last few items for Christmas gifts. The Dollar Store (where everything is $1.00) was the best place for little things to put in stockings. Tomorrow I will be heading into Trader Joe's for yummy things to eat and drink. I am just so excited about Christmas this year!
Here are some old postcards for you to enjoy or print. I would say they are from 1890 - 1910. What nice tags these would make with a little glitter of course!
Take time to create something beautiful! Spread good cheer and kindness.
Much love, Louise

The wonderful art of Walter Crane from children's book's of the 1800's,

Digging in my treasure chest of images was so fun today. I always forget what gems there are. Thank you to all the artist who created them over 100 years ago. Now they will adorn scrap books collage and artist trading cards of today. Decoupaged glued and framed the creativity continues.
My dilemma for every post. What is the theme? I have 2 that I want to do so this is featuring the art work of Walter Crane. Then it will be the fairy. Lots of pixies faeries or and elves fairies.
Some of the wonderful pictures that I am attributing to Mr. Crane may have been done by others. They have the same feel so all are included here.
I am attracted to the colors,  in vogue and popular today.
Create beautiful things today!
Louise
