Adorable Victorian Greeting Cards ~ Little Girl with Doll ~ Girl with Daisy~ Free Graphics Images

Hi everyone and welcome!
These adorable pictures are Victorian greeting cards.
The first one is so sweet with what looks like a Hitty doll. Love the warm colors that remind me that it will soon be fall.  The girl with the big blue bow might be contemplating a boy and the game "he loves me,he loves me not" as she pull out the petals of the daisy. Just two of the many colorful images from a 1880's scrapbook. More to follow in the coming days. So very happy you found your way to my little blog!
I hope you add them to your creative projects and art.

What would Jane Austen do? Play Hide and Seek or Badminton? Lovely Poupees Epoque Empire Clipart

Good morning and welcome!
I stumbled upon a very unusual and interesting book on toys and games. It was written in the French language so it was the pictures that caught my eye. I couldn't wait to share some of the pictures with you. Here are a few of the many engravings and colored plates.Maybe Jane and her sister enjoyed similar ladylike outdoor activities.
The French dolls are dressed in the Empire style which puts them in Jane Austen's lifetime.  The elaborately dressed poupees are just waiting to make their way into your greeting cards, collages and mixed media art.
Hope you are all well. I am sending much love to each and every one of you.

Beautiful Woman with Waterlilies Antique Postcard~ John William Waterhouse ~Antique Water Lily Button Card Free Clip Art

Good morning and welcome to all of you!
I am really pleased how well this group of images came together. Started when I came across the antique postcard on TuckDB.  So lovely in muted colors and art nouveau esthetic.  Then I remembered The Lily button card.  John William Waterhouse's paintings often have settings near ponds streams and water in general. His 1894 painting of Ophelia is perfect for today's post.
I hope you enjoy the art work and can use the graphics in your artwork and crafts.
