Rich Fall Colors ~

Oh I love that Fall is here! I love the beautiful colors as leaves turn from green to rich browns, yellows  orange. This year we may have made it through fire season. Cooler nights, damp dewy mornings plus rain is coming. September and October can be so hot and windy. It can be a time of anxiety and being prepared to evacuate in case of wildfires at a moment’s notice. All things considered I am starting to relax with each passing day.
Now onto the beautiful art work in today’s post. The rich fall colors, sumptuous fabrics and lovely ladies reflect the season. The fall fairy can be used for cards or any of your creations. I hope you have a wonderful day!
So glad you found my blog. Sending love to everyone, Louise ❤️

How exciting to start a new year!. It seems like yesterday that the new century began. I was amazed to have made it to 2000 and now 14 more years have passed.
Wonder what new inventions and improvements the year holds.
Today I have selected the charming and whimsical book illustrations by Janet Laura Scott. Her work always puts a smile on my face. These are from the book
Wildflower Children, The Playmates of The Fairies by Elizabeth Gordon.
The book was published by P.F. Volland.
Have a wonderful creative day. Much love, Louise

Buttercup's Visit to Little Stay at Home A 1880's Victorian Children's Book with Darling pictures!

Hi everyone. Welcome to Bumble Button. Today I have pages from a Victorian book. This book, from 1881, has the best title. I can relate except I'm not so little! The verse is odd but the illustrations are charming. Not much to say today so enjoy the pictures. Love Louise
